If my ESO+ subscription expires and I don't renew it, or I cancel it, will I still be able to put items in the craft bag if instances of that same item are already in the bag? e.g. if I have, say, 10000 ta runes in the craft bag, and I receive another ta rune, can I move it to the craft bag if ESO+ is not currently active?

No, not as far as I know.
One your subscription runs out, nothing can be added to the back anymore. Including items for already existing stacks in there.

When your ESO Plus subscription ends you can only withdraw items from the craftbag.

When your ESO Plus membership lapses you will not be able to place any additional items into your Craft Bag, however, you will still be able to access and use any items already in your bag. Your crafting materials will not be deleted or removed from your Craft Bag until you remove them.

You will not be able to place any additional items into the craft bag. Not just any new types, but any items at all.

And my point is that ZOS doesn't have a perfect history of describing how the game works in their how-to pages, or I would never have created this thread. Anyway, I got the answer I need on post #2, so the mods can lock this thread if they wish.

That would basically be keeping the craft bag forever otherwise. As you would just have to not use up any type of item. Not many new materials are added, usually only a few new style materials each year.
