What is going on with PC NA today?

I've been booted twice today from PC NA with unexpected error. Then, I have to wait some unspecified amount of time so that the server can sort itself out for my account. What is going on? Anyone else having this issue?

Update: make it 3 times. And, funny enough, all 3 times ToT related. Twice while in ToT game and one right after queueing for one.

That sounds like a hiccup somewhere in comms where your connection to the game gets wonky and you get D/Ced on your end but the game thinks you're still in there and you gotta wait for the eventually time out for your account in-game and spamming log ins will result in Error 201 which locks you out of the log in servers for spamming them.

I do not know. It's unplayable. I've never had it this bad. Constant disconnects. Restarted the router/pc. Did not help. I give up for today.

That is the thing. I do not see a ping spike to 999+ as it usually happens. The game freezes and then "Unexpected error" or "connection lost" (or whatever was written there). I gave up after 6 or 7 disconnects.

It's okay. For some reason, crashes during ToT with an unexpected error have become quite common. You are not alone. Just try again another day.

It started with 3 ToT "related" crashes (which I found kind of funny. Lost two games because of that). I've never had it happen before (and I play A LOT of ToT). But then it progressed to crashing mid standing still, mid fight. So, it became bad all around.

Edit: and any crashes I had before were usually preceded with 999+ ping spike. Not today.

Yeah I've been kicked twice with "An unknown error has occurred" while waiting in the queue for Gray Host.

Really annoying to have to start the queue over and over again, through no fault of my own. And my ISP connection is flawless on my end.

edit: Make it three times. And this time my queue was down to 1. Not at all looking forward to dealing with being booted during the upcoming event.

I've had a similar problem when rezoning today on PC/EU (connecting from Western Canada is usually fine), multiple "Server connection lost" kicks out to login screen. Not ToT-related for me though. Currently trying to login on PC/NA, but it's an endless load screen at the moment.

Is there a Cloudstrike system somewhere in the connection path?

The issue is continuing today. I was able to play for about an hour with no issues. Then, got thrown out of the game. Waited a bit, got back. Farmed Outcast inn on a couple of toons.. Started ToT game, played to the point when I was about to be declared the winner and, of course, disconnected again.

I do not know what is going on, but if I'm going to continue not being able to play ToT then my motivation to playESO will be highly diminished.

It's not ToT-specific. I have been having this same issue occur intermittently for months now.

I know it's not ToT specific. But it's especially infuriating for me with ToT games. I lost 3 of them in the last two days because of disconnects. Never had it this bad. 6-7 disconnects yesterday, and I gave up after 2 close to each other disconnects today.
