- Affix Scripts can alternatively drop from the following:
  - DLC World Event Daily Quest coffers
  - Imperial City Daily Quest coffers

Bound Focus Script: Generate Ultimate(15000 or 3000 Fortunes)
- You must complete The Wing of the Gryphon in the Scribing questline to purchase.
- Focus Scripts can alternatively drop from the following:
  - DLC Delve Daily Quest coffers
  - Rewards for the Worthy coffers
  - Mages Guild Daily Quest coffers
Bound Signature Script: Anchorite's Cruelty (20000 or 4000 Fortunes)
- You must complete The Wing of the Dragon in the Scribing questline to purchase.
- Signature Scripts can alternatively drop from the following:
  - DLC World Boss Daily Quest coffers
  - Cyrodiil Town Daily Quest coffers
  - Fighters Guild Daily Quest coffers
Companion Equipment: Light Armor (5000 Fortunes)
Public Dungeon Collectible Fragment: Coral Haj Mota Decoy (4000 Fortunes)
- 25 of these fragments alongside 25 Coral Haj Mota Lures are required for the Coral Haj Mota Pet. Can be consumed and tracked with the Coral Haj Mota Achievement.
- It can alternatively be collected from random enemies in the Ghost Haven Bay (High Isle and Amenos Public Dungeon).
Infinite Archive Collectible Fragment: Disgusting Spoils (7000 Fortunes)
ToT Card Upgrade: Cephorach's Insight Clue (4000 Fortunes)
Lead: Inclined Dwarven Paneling (5000 Fortunes)
- One of the leads for the Ebon Dwarven Wolf Mount.
- It can alternatively be collected from the bosses in Nchuthnkarst (Blackreach: Greymoor Caverns Public Dungeon). Its digsite is located in Western Skyrim.
Lead: Inkwood Box (5000 Fortunes)
- One of the leads for the Glyphic Secrets Music Box.
- It can alternatively be collected from the Tales of Tribute reward coffers. Its digsite is located in the Telvanni Peninsula.
Furnishing: Dusksaber Report (1000 Fortunes)
Furnishing: The Legend of Fathoms Drift (1000 Fortunes)

Cycle reward chests will have Armor Sets from the following zones:

I already have the other leads dug up, so as soon as I buy and dig up this lead I will get the music box. After that, I may buy another lead so I can get it again. It’s going to be a costly week in the archive! 🙂

i think i still need a 2nd copy of this one to progress my 2nd copy, i think im at 6/10 leads for 2nd copy of the music box

would definitely do that if i could though to start on the 3rd copy

i dont mind playing tribute but the 2nd copy of the lead is always 100x worse than the first drop for me lol

Very nice! I literally got 4 of the 5 leads needed while doing various quests and I have plenty of Archival Fortunes saved up. It will be nice to have a shiny new music box to place in an appropriate home.

@Necrotech_Master I was talking about the West Weald music box, specifically...sometimes its hard for me to know which leads people are referring to, LOL

I think that I only have 4 Necrom music box leads. I have 7 of the Ebon Wolf mount leads, but I quit grinding for that about three years ago. I get leads when I get them...RNGeezus determines when.

I am happy for all the people waiting for the Inkwood box lead.

I hope the Tool Grooved Wooden Tray for the woodwork table is available soon. It is a pain trying to get the lead in Wayrest Sewers 2 a second time. Like others I plan to buy the lead twice so I can finish the codex and buy the table whenever I want

I'm tempted to buy the music box lead but then looking at the other requirements and how this music box requires twice the leads and three times the grind compared to the other music boxes, I feel somewhat discouraged. Sort of how I feel regarding the hunt for Necrom furnishing plans and the extra hassle required to build them (limited ability to farm glass eyes of mora). Seems like more work than they're worth. Which is more or less how I feel about Necrom, unfortunately.

However, I hope those of you who have been diligent and farmed the other leads for the Glyphic Secrets music box enjoy your new music box now that you have the Lead: Inkwood Box.

I would encourage you to pick up the lead!

At least for the first lead drops, the others haven’t seemed grindy. I finished my first music box and bought a second lead to work toward another.

Great that the lead from ToT is in there… not so great that I can’t buy it even though I have plenty of fortune currency and it’s not blocked out. I try to buy it and nothing happens…

Same for me. I think it might be because I dug up the whole antiquity once, got the lead a second time from the card game, but I am still missing the other leads a second time, hence the game preventing me from "starting" a third round, before completing the thing a second time. So now I am farming the other leads again to dig the music box up (a second time), and then see if I can buy the lead..

Yes, you still have the lead until the antiquity is completed. So, once you find the other leads, you should be able to buy the lead again.

I’ve been hitting the relevant delve bosses repeatedly, but no leads toward a second music box. I wonder if there is a hidden cooldown or if this is just another example of the terrible RNG for second Necrom leads?

I’m thrilled to finally have the music box but hoped I might complete the second before next Tuesday so I could get a third lead and work on fully unlocking the codex at my leisure.

I was going to say that hasn’t been my experience, but most multi-part antiquities I’ve previously gone after have thankfully not needed to be found more than once as they were either furnishings unlocked upon first completion or mythics which make more sense to reconstruct for additional copies. I remember it took me a while to get the safebox lead for my first Aldmeri Symphonia music box; I think subsequent ones came easier, many just in the course of normal gameplay. Another exception would be the Infinite Archive — if there was a significant delay between the first and second copies of leads dropping, I was playing it anyway for other reasons and they will drop eventually.

But that won’t be the case with the Necrom Glyphic Secrets music box. What is the point of making it so many pieces, requiring three be found to unlock for purchase, and several leads only drop from a specific boss and ridiculously infrequent past the first???

Is ZOS trying to discourage people from collecting more than one? I expected that it would take time, effort, and some degree of grinding/tedium if I were to collect a whole music box in one week, but if camping the requisite delve bosses has yielded nothing, there’s no reason to even try for the more difficult leads.

This is not made up for by adding additional single lead furnishings that drop from any and every source in a zone. Of course I’m happy for additional antiquity furnishings, but I’d rather they not be in categories of ubiquitous vs. nearly impossible.

I expect to put in time and effort for things and indeed that makes them more rewarding. I’m not complaining about scribing or ink drops and I was happy with the Infinite Archive until it stopped dropping any books for me ever at all.

But antiquities, in a million pieces, locked behind horrid treasure chest RNG, or ToT, and second leads having less than 1% droprate, I am pushed from an enjoyable hunt and collection to frustration. I have rl to for that — I play a game to feel like I have agency and can achieve the goals I work toward.
