The Wing of the Gryphon - stuck in the quest

So, I’ve already gotten stuck on once in the Wing of the Gryphon quest when the map pointed to an incorrect location for the fox and I could not find the fox to talk to him. I reset the quest, and this is my 2nd time going through it, and this time I’m stuck at the very end of the quest, where I currently have to steal creatia from daedric princes, and I’m at stage 2/3. The only hint is to steal Mora’s treasure. But when I click on “Show on Map,” a message is displayed that the quest cannot be shown on the map. There is absolutely no indication where I need to go to complete this.

Okay, after running around for 30 minutes, I finally found the entry point for the Obscured Furum in Greenshade. Apparently I failed to pick up something on the ground and left to do the next sub-quest.

In my opinion, the clues / indications where you need to go in the scholarium quest need to be reworked, otherwise this quest will cause some player frustration for sure.

Oh yes the bridge that stays invisible. Nothing but pure misery but I found out that spamming an aoe on the "ground" works on that bridge.

You have found all of those glowing symbols and activated them, right? Because it's more than one per part.

Is it just me or are these Wings quest just too long? I get excited about the quest when it starts, learning new lore but near the end I am just saying “I have to do something else now?! Holy crap.”

I liked the new lore as well, and found the lorebooks and dialogues to be well-written, but I also felt a bit bored in the end. I'm all for long quests or quest lines, but I'd prefer more variety and not always the same tasks. Even an idea that is fun somehow gets boring if you have to do it too often in a short time.

Btw, am I the only person that those "search for glowy symbols in ruins" tasks reminded of Geocaching, especially night caches? Although they tend to be more complicated in real life.

Someone else had a major problem with the Gryphon quest getting stuck at 2/3 while following the quest indicators. I didn't have an issue, and I'm not sure if there was a verbal or visual cue that made it easier for me. I wonder if there's a bug there. I think the other person was able to fix it somehow by searching the portal the mora quest takes you to more thoroughly?

I think there are some instructions that are less intuitive than the usual quest if someone just follows the quest markers, which could explain why some players have had issues with it and some haven't at all. It could also be a bug, but it's hard to tell from the outside.

I advise using one of the popular tips sites that have specific instructions/photo's on where to find these items.

I was able to do the last part of the Gryphon's quest pretty quickly by using the portals in the Scholarium. If you go back to the room with the wayshrines, there are portals to all three places.

The main challenge I'm currently having is constantly being booted from the game.

I got stuck looking for the fox in greenshade. The quest marker had me going in circles, I needed to restart eso several times to move forward.

Another tip is to always talk to the NPCs in the Scholarium before heading out. I think the map markers were added after I talked to them. So if you have the hint to talk to them, do so.

(though it sounds like some of you might be running into a bug with the gryphon quest)

Where's the fox? Crap who knows, maybe at the zoo. I am very disappointed with this DLC. Most of the Scribing and Story Line quests have confusing, inaccurate or misleading clues. It seems like this is the most buggy DLC to date. I've been in since 2014.

    Happy Trails to You

Just in case someone ends up here like I did- with the same issue- go back to Greenshade, through the portal (which won’t be visible, but will have a quest marker), and back to the room with the candles. We forgot to pick up the creatia.
