[QoL Request] Mark quest status of dungeon

It is not always easy to see which quests for which dungeon has already been done by one of my toons, specifically if there is a version I and a version II of it.

Could we not get a marker for instance in the list of dungeons within the dungeon search gui that indicates if the quest has already been done by my active toon?

On console, the icon will tell you - if the group dungeon icon is a white outline then you have not done it, if it is solid white then you have.

I would think it is the same on PC but maybe not.

It is the same on PC. And on PC we even have add-ons that help us track this stuff.

The account wide change messed things up,was easier to track that stuff before in journal per character.

Exactly! And I noticed that you have black icons if you have only done one of two of the versions for one dungeon, e.g. if you have done Spindleclutch I but not II it will show black. And then you don't know if you have done only one or none.

Also it is much better to have this information centralized instead of needing to find all icons on the map to see if they are black or white.

It sounds like the add-on might be making it more difficult to see completion than without, then.

I cannot emphasize how important it is to actually be able to see which dungeon quests have already been done on a char.

I just had the case that I did Selene's Web on a char that I am leveling (level 43 at the moment) and which has yet to unlock undaunted dailies that I try to level undaunted skill line and as at the moment the only way seems to be to do dungeon quests where I apparantly already did that quest as no questmarker showed up DESPITE the icon being BLACK.

So I ran with the group because it would not be nice to the group if I immediately left but I wasted that time totally with respect to my purpose to level undaunted skill line without being able to do undaunted dailies at the moment.

When you mouse/cursor over Selene's Web does the text at the top of the map match this?

I think if you ran the dungeon but did not complete the quest then the icon would still be black.

On PC, one of my most favorite add-ons is Ulrich’s Skill Point Finder. In addition to tracking the skill points from sky shards in every zone, the screen has a section that lists every single four-man dungeon in the game and shows if you’ve gotten the skill point from doing that quest or not. It also has a list of all of the public dungeons and whether you’ve done the group event or not. And even when you’re on one character, you can use the drop-down box to select your other characters in the game as long as they’ve been loaded into the game at least once after installing the add-on and see the same information for every character on your account. This is one of the add-ons I could never have lived without.
