The actually design is something like "fire and forget" design without armory support.

If you look at a price graph, the price has already dropped significantly.

The problem with that is that this is also sort of a honeymoon period for scribing, and not being able to experiment much with it feels bad. A lot of people may do the quests, grumble about ink, and then set it aside as not very useful and not really look much at it even when ink availability is better.

I'm sceptical about that: I don't recall any previous login reward containing chromium plating.Dagoth_Rac wrote: »We have gotten other crafting materials, like Dreugh Wax, so I expect we'll get Luminous Ink from daily rewards eventually.

That feels like a bug or oversight. It would be like Armory using up a skill point every time you swap builds if the builds use different morphs. I would file a bug report in game and make a post in the "Bug Reports" topic on forum. I bet that is not intended behavior.

You just don’t need as much as it seems on the first look. Apart from support roles and maybe a few PvP users ( I am not a PvP gamer have no clue if it gets used ) there is really not much useful in it . It gets allready more or less boring
As we've noted before, we agree that the availability of Luminous Ink is lower than we'd like, and we are actively looking into ways we can improve that. Ensuring Luminous Ink drops off of boss monsters was one such step - this is live on PC and going out for console servers in tomorrow's incremental patch. What you see in this thread is another step. We are preparing to add Luminous Ink as a Daily Login Reward (not to the Crown Store) at some point in the future; keep an eye out for our usual Daily Login Rewards info each month.
