Radiant Destruction is overpowered, and that's perfect. Every class must have those iconic, overpowered skills; because that creates idenity and impact. I would rather have a class system where some skills stand out like a needle, rather than one where all class skills are streamlined to death, just with different looks.

I would like it if my classes' Iconic skill Shadowy Disguise was OP . . Given there is a potion that turns off my 'iconic' skill in the game, I would argue I should have a potion that turns off Sorc's / Arc's ward. Or make DK Temp Warden take any damage. Or make Necro a real class worth money in 2024.
Can you imagine the backlash if there were any other class specific ' F U ' ?

Poor NBs. Everyone feels so bad for them

Are you saying you empathize, are you saying ' Poor Nightblades, the cast feels so bad for them to fight', or are you literally just mocking me for being vocal about my classes' problems ?

Radiant Destruction should be nerfed, namely to reduce the radius of action from 28 meters, to 10-15 meters, at the moment it is too imbalanced skill. Such a strong skillet shouldn't work at such a long range.

Another one who clearly should have kept quiet. When you don't know a class or a spell you've never played, I cordially invite you to take the time to level up a class and try it out.
My Templar equipped with "Deadly Strike" and "Kvatch Gladiator" allowed me to deal damage between 8k and 22k to a player when they had less than 10% health left. And that was on the most fragile players, the ones with shields, mages who flee casting an infinite teleportation spell every 5 seconds, or archers who run faster than a horse and become invisible every 10 seconds and dodge every 5 seconds.
This Templar set, which allowed me to stay behind a group healing and finish off fleeing players, no longer works.
Thanks, crybaby. Thanks to those idiot devs.
Understand that when you optimize to be strong with your Templar in one situation, you become extremely weak in many others! This is clearly not the case for other classes that manage to combine speed, healing, protection, resistance, and damage.
Templars don't have:
Excessive teleportations
The ability to become invisible all the time and dodge everything
Shields that cover 100% of the health bar every 5 seconds (thanks to the diabolical update with the Arcanists)
The firepower to one-shot a player in 1 second like many archers, arcanists, and mages do
A tenth of the resistance of a warden
With my Templar, I had a role of group support, healing, and finishing off...
My character is unable to kill another player in a 1v1.
My wife, who played the same role as me, feels just as stupid as I do watching us get decimated with nothing we can do about it.
BAM, I stun you, I kill you
BAM, I jump on you, paralyze you, kill you
We can't even free ourselves from our states anymore, we can't even raise a shield or dodge hits even though we're full stamina.
In short, we keep explaining that we just want to play the way we feel like, we don't want to be forced into a certain playstyle!
We don't want to play other classes besides Templar.
We wish players would stop whining when those same players kill en masse, steamrolling others... and because we managed to get a kill with 20k damage when they had 5% health left, they come crying to the devs.
Currently, my Templar is unplayable in PVP. I've been playing it for 10 years. And I'm tired of constantly changing my gear, farming like an idiot to max out my armor, only to find out that every month there are patches with kids crying to the devs because a spell killed them.
The Templar has become the most useless and weakest character in the game for pvp.
Personally, I'm going to delete my character, uninstall the game, and end my subscription that I pay for just to get massacred.
I would like that, but it will never happen. sadlyMEBengalsFan2001 wrote: »IMO other classes should be adjusted to be at the Templar level.

Looking at it that way they have to nerf every class down to necro and templars level, and nightblade and sorcs has far more inbalanced things thats needs to be looked at first. And the skill has so many ways to avoid it, interupt, bash, leave the range, enter a corner/go behind something, enter stealth on a nb or with potion, so if you stand inn the open and die by it the blame is on you.

Soon Templar will be alone at the bottom. Necro are getting a much needed buff.
