I didn't talk to near the Wayshrine starter quest for the hooded figure for the quest for my Necro at Daggerfall, and it failed the quest when I walked farther away. Is that quest forever lost? He should just stay there so I could do the quest later. I'd be upset if that quest is gone forever. My necro is lvl 14, and that's far enough to not want to start the game again.

✭✭✭✭The quest won't be lost- don't worry. The next time you are within that area, you'll be able to speak with the hooded figure again. I regularly ignore this quest on my alts and the figure is always there for me to talk to next time I want

✭✭✭✭The Hooded Figure won't approach again, but the quest will be in your journal and will point you to where she is. She's got a place in each town where she will end up hanging out waiting for you to talk to her.
I'm not sure where she ends up settling in the other alliances, but for the EP she ends up at a broken wagon across from the house you're supposed to go to for the next part. For the others, it's likely somewhere nearby. But your quest marker should point to her so you can find her easily.1
