Best I can tell, I get one Mosaic Skill Shred if I defeat at least one of the three Valkynazes before the Champion comes out but I get none if I arrive too late to fight them.

Is this expected behavior?

    I get one a day for completing the incursion - so long as I do some damage - no need to be there from the start. But only one per day per account.

    It launched on console on June 18 and I have been doing this daily every day since. I only have 11 of these.

    I should have 21 of them unless I screwed up the math. Could I have used 10 of them for something? I keep them in my inventory to remind me to do them.

    I’ve been watching the count and one day I did not get one was a day that I showed up just as the Champion spawned.

    Check your achievement, see if you have any progress:

    I've run incursions almost daily on two accounts, champion kills are irrelevant to skill shred drop in my experience. Just yesterday i got to a fight at 5% health on the champion and got a shred.

    Depending on progress you might have Grand Healing or Dawnbreaker instead

    I'm at 21 which lines up with the days since release on console. So far it appears to only be one per day and only requires at least damaging the final boss. As long as you can loot that chest at the end of the incursion, you should be able to get your 1 per day.

    I have been consuming them as I get them, so maybe you consumed a few. The achievements for Gold Road will tell you how many you have consumed.

    I just checked and @EdjeSwift is correct. I have used 10 for the achievement above and just forgot about it. I was certain I was missing some but must have been mistaken.

    Thanks again for the help, I guess I am getting one each day after all.
