How to avoid automatic PTS patch?

I have PTS shown on my launcher although most of the time I don't hop on to it.

Now with updates hitting PTS I get a forced update which makes playing on live difficult if not impossible. So what I would like to do is to control when I get the PTS patch. Is there a way to do it?

I know I can remove PTS from my launcher but when I put it back I have to wait really long until everything is updated again.

There should be a toggle where you can disable auto updates in options. But after activating, at least for me it doesn’t works. Update was pushed anyway but maybe it works for you. It’s worth a try

I don't think there's an option, unfortunately (I have the same problem). All you can do is halting the update if it triggers when you open the launcher intending to play on live, and let the update resume after you've finished.

Yeah exactly that’s what I was talking about, but like I said, even if I activate it , the update was pushed and my game chrashed. So not sure if it will work but worth the try

I only keep the setting "Show Public Test Environment" enabled when I want to play on the PTS, the rest of the time it's unchecked and that way I only update the PTS when I want to.

You could run the game's exe directly instead of going thru the launcher.
