AI Instantly Won Without Getting To 40 Prestige. Bug?

- I'm playing a match against the novice AI.
- We're using the four default Patrons.
- At one point in the match the score is 28 (AI) to 17 (me).
- The AI starts their turn, plays a few cards, and then all of a sudden I get the DEFEAT screen.
- The score is still the same 28-17, yet the AI somehow instantly won. They never got to 40, and even if they did, it never gave me my extra turn to pass them.
I'm definitely not a ToT expert and am somehow new to it, but this seems like a total bug. I really don't see how this could've happened, unless there's some kind of hidden mechanic I don't know about.

✭✭I agree it could be a patron win, but the that the opponent is nearing a patron win is hard to overlook...

Oh yea maybe? I didn't even know that was a thing. I've played at least 100 matches and that's never happened before.

Omegacron✭✭✭If all four patrons are turned toward one player side or the other, that counts as a Patron Victory. If your opponent is favored by 3 patrons, the black notification that pops up and says it's your turn should also say "XXX is close to a patron victory.", at which point your priority should be to get one or two patrons pointed back your way.0
