Residence permits for friends!

It would be very nice if you could give your friend a residence permit in your house, of course if he was just a guest he would pay the rent every week, but for special friends you can do it for free. :)

    friends can already visit any of your houses that you allow visitors?

    though im guessing you mean for any of your houses, in which case theres port to friends house addon unless you happen to be on console

    i have my main house (grand topal hideaway) listed in the housing tours, it has multiple target dummies, scribing altar, and grandmaster stations (in progress being filled out), as well as almost every antiquity furnishing on display to preview them

    I mean the possibility to make my house the main house for my friends, for example because they not have own house or if you are engaged by mara rings you will have one common house for two or more people. It's kind of like a guild hall, but for a small circle of people.

    SWTOR had the best setup I have seen. The UI permitted you to give out keys to friends and guildmates for specific homes. It had three levels of access similar to the access levels we had.

    Then the UI had a page where one could see what keys they had to which player's homes. In addition, there was a means to make a home open to the public and a UI to find those homes as well.

    SWTOR also had guild homes and ships. It would be great if ESO introduced guild homes.

    if its just your primary residence, then they can already access that whenever by just using the visit primary residence option

    unless you want them to have easier access to houses other than your primary residence, then its kind of already available

    What would this do? Would it make it so the friend could set it as their primary residence? Would it give them access to the housing chests? Would they be able to add, remove and move furnishings around? If so then I say no because this could potentially cause conflict.
