Returning to the game and plan to make a Argonian healer what class should I pick for her?

Hello I’m returning to the game after taking a year long break due to me feeling burnt out and I’m planning on making a healer with my Argonian as I love being support however I don’t know what class to choose as I’ve been out of the loop of game for a while so any help would be greatly appreciated.

I plan to use her as my main healer for everything except leaderboards/scorepushing/trifectas as I’ll obviously use a Breton and I also apologize for making this again but like I said I’ve been out of the loop.

Warden and Sorc can be extremely effective healers for pve and pvp.

I have an Argonian NB healer. I like the versatile tool kit of skills NBs have for healing. Arcanists are good too.

Templars are also considered good healers. I have one of those too but I find I really don't enjoy the Templar as much.

For PvE, NB and Warden are the meta healer classes, at least for trials. Templar, Arcanist, Sorc, and Necro can also be effective, depending on the group.

I don’t know why you say of course Breton for leaderboards/scoreboards. For trials, I would expect High Elf to be meta for RO/Jo healer due to extra spell damage, but I could be wrong. I’ve never pursued such and just as well as I would never change a character’s race for a meta (or probably at all).

Warden is a very pretty healer class, and it can fit well with some Argonian/Black Marsh vibes. And one of their weaknesses (for me) was that they lacked a single-target ranged burst heal, but now they can have one with Scribing. Yay!

I probably shouldn’t have mentioned that my bad.

Oh, no worries! I just thought either you might be thinking of a previous meta or quite possibly there was something I didn’t know about / wasn’t taking into account. :)

Well the reason I said that is because I thought Bretons were the best if you are trying to go for scorepushing/leaderboards but I could be wrong as it has been a while.

I don't know about what is best for pushing scores, but I know a lot of high-end healers that are nords, specifically because they're more survivable AND they get extra ulti-gen while taking damage. That means they're able to cast more war horns or whatever ult is needed to support the group. And a healer's best trait is his ability to stay alive, which the Nord also does very well.
