they never had these achievements in the past, but i there is a part of another mythic tied to a trial

the dov-rha sabatons had a lead in sunspire trial (this mythic was added in high isle), which was a year before they started requiring the antiquities and fishing as part of the savior achievements

so its not completely unexpected if there was another mythic lead in a trial

I do not mind if there are leads found in the Trials (I will never get them unless they show up at IA vendor, but that is another story). I'm against making them mandatory for the zone achievements that never required them before. Do you know of another zone that required a Trial completion for the Savior of ... achievement?

can confirm, just got this lead from last boss Halls of Fabrication on normal difficulty

Well, I wish this information was available earlier (the one that Trial now a requirement for the Savior of ... achievement for the new zone) - before I made a preorder. Such a huge disappointment. I always looked forward to Hero of ... savior of achievements.

they didnt start requiring any of these until last year with necrom, honestly i preferred it before too where it didnt require fishing/antiquities for the savior achievement, as honestly those have little to nothing to do with actually being the savior of the zone lol

It was a hassle last year (especially with the Lead dropping from the Z'Baza), but it was ok. But Trials is where I draw the line. Very big disappointment to say the least. Well, no Savior of West Weald for me then.

there is always the chance that the lead will show up in the archive rotation vendor, though i wish it offered a few more leads each week than just 2 lol

Just like you I was very disappointed with the decision to include a lead in a trial to the achievement. But do try the group finder while people might still be trying for the lead. Good news is that it seems to be a guaranteed drop, so you only need to do it once (at least this has been true for everyone posting here).

Also, next month it's going to be a Morrowind spotlight, and they mentioned that there will be extra seals of endeavors on some days for activities there that will include HoF. So, may be on such day there will be more groups formed for HoF in the group finder.
