It’s no different than chapters later going on sale, then becoming part of ESO+, and sometimes eventually being login awards. You get all the time you’ve been able to enjoy it and the rewards you’ve gotten from it since it came out, some of which, a player just now getting the DLC may not have had access to.

I hope that this time it's at least not bugged like the last time. Last time I couldn't claim the reward because I already owned it, but the calendar didn't move forward the next day either, but got stuck on that day; in the end making me lose one day at the end of the calendar (only one, at least, because they fixed it after a while). 3,000 Tel Var isn't a big loss, but it still feels like getting a disadvantage for having already bought content, and that shouldn't happen.

Nothing, just like those who already owned other DLCs they've given away got nothing. I think I've owned every one so far and I don't mind at all that they're giving them away. They're old at this point.

You've received the ability to play the DLC for a lot longer than those who will only next month be getting it as a reward.

This is a special case, and you know it. A DLC is worth a great deal more than our typical daily login rewards. So please skip the unnecessary sarcasm.

It's not really entirely sarcasm (though there was a bit, I admit); I mean like 75% of the login rewards, every month, for years now, have been useless to me. I don't really care, it's free stuff, marketing, etc., etc. I get excited occasionally when there's one I like.

I think it's awesome that other players who may not own and may have never been able to obtain clockwork city are going to be able to experience it. It's fine that others have a different opinion, and I feel I've adequately expressed mine.

Might also be useful to express to zos what sort of alternate reward you'd actually like. And consider that whatever YOU value may not be of any value to someone else. And will just result in the same circle of complaints all over again.

I mean you can also keep calling me out and arguing with me, which is also fine; but I don't control the login rewards so it ultimately won't result in much.

To be honest it is kind of disappointing to get nothing while others get something. We paid money bought expansions and down the road as reward we get nothing while others get freebies. I would welcome any kind of recognition, some crowns, crown crates, pet, skin... literally anything. It is like standing in line to get free ice cream and when it is finally your turn they just skip you and go to next person.

I think it's nice that they're giving away a dlc in the daily rewards. I already have it, but it's still a nice reward for those who don't.
I wouldn't mind getting something else small just to have something to collect but I understand if that's difficult to do in game, and really all I can ask for is to not have it bug like last time for those who already had the dlc >_>

Save the upcoming CWC giveaway, I already owned all the previous DLC they gave away this year. The last thing on my mind was to demand "recognition" because I too, needed to be celebrated for.. playing? Lol.

I thought it was great, and I hope they'll give away even more DLC stuff, most of which I probably already own as well.

Just be happy for other people.

Personally, I enjoy these DLC giveaways very much, even when I have the DLC itself. I like when older areas like Wrothgar get an influx of player traffic, makes it enjoyable to return to those areas and experience some part of it again.

Clockwork City is probably one of my all-time favorite areas, so I can't wait for ppl to start exploring it. And ofc I will be joining them myself

I am getting this one for free and I really wish ZOS would give something to those who already own it. Many of us are getting 2K crown worth of item as login reward but others are not getting anything. Doesn't seem fair to me, maybe give them 1K crown as login reward instead?
