The new Dwemer Gear Deconstructor, is a rip off, they could've added a voice to it, maybe a researcher got their soul stuck in it, which isn't unheard of lore wise, or give it some sort of beeps to augment the text. It's just lazy.

i don't have the Theodolite pet so cant see size difference if there's any, but by looking at images of the pet it looks like the exact same design.

I put my theodolite pet beside the deconstructor and it's just a tad smaller. The pet at least makes some noise when it moves, it seems to me like the deconstructor is completely silent. While I don't expect a voice with it, it could rattle or something at least.3 -

✭Eventually the sounds of pets start to drive one a little crazy.
