The Bug: Sometimes when casting abilities, your character will stop moving completely as if rooted in place. I have had this occur with Elemental susceptibility, Haunting Curse, Rending Slashes, and Concealed weapon so far, but I've only played Sorc and NB this patch so I'm sure this is present elsewhere too. There was a bug very similar to this with warden's arctic wind/polar wind ability several years ago that zenimax patched.

    Still present as of 1/20/2024. Happening with most abilities in the game.

    This is one of numerous newer combat bugs that are severely diminishing the combat system currently. It worries me to see this completely ignored - every patch that I sign in, I am noticing more and more subtle bugs like this that are just perpetually flying under the radar, and it makes me think that soon the combat system will no longer be the gem that it has been for the past decade.

    Hey @ZOS_Kevin , this bug is still present as of gold road and seems to be happening more frequently, and with even more abilities. It appears to have something to do with your character attempting to turn when casting at a target who is not directly in front of you, which for some reason stops your momentum and locks you in place momentarily.

    Could you please pass this along?
