Does "snare" effect attack speed?

I'm looking at the "Ash Cloud" dragon knight ability. It snares enemies by 70% Does that effect their attack speed, or just their run speed?

Also, the "Eruption" morph "disorients" enemies. What's the difference between "disorienting" enemies with that ability and something else like "Deep Breath" (a morph of Inhale) that "stuns" enemies AND "sets them off balance"?

thanks for your time.

Each does have subtly different effects, though I can't remember each of them perfectly. I THINK they are as follows:
Stun: Can't move or attack for duration. Can use the stunbreak to get out of.
Off-Balance: Makes you vulnerable to further status effects (I think a hard attack turns it into a stun?). May have other effects.
Disorient: Prevents attacking. Ends when struck or the stunbreak is used.
Immobilize: Prevents movement. Cannot use the stunbreak, though you can use roll/dodge and such to escape.

Again, I've probably got some of the details on these wrong. It's been a while since I checked up on the details or did much pvp.

Snare should mean run speed only.
