I've been a great fan of the decorations you guys have put down during the witches festivel (And which some black feathered foes kept on stealing back) and I'm really glad, that it seems to have become the new norm. The decorations placed across Tamriel for Zenithars event are more subtle than wickermen, stacked pumpkins, spooky amounts of fog and murders of crows, but they feel very fitting and in match with the festival itself. The coin garlands and piles of cut wheat invoke the idea of trade and harvest.
I think it's great that Zenithars event started to spread it's visuals across the borders of Belkarth and made it's way into other regions.
With all the different holidays the franchise offers, it's certainly not easy to pick which ones are worth to be actually yearly portrayed and given a pupose in terms of gameplay.
Or to decide, wether or not such holidays should be kept inside their region for lore reasons or showcased all across tamriel and it's DLCs to introduce the festivities even to the utmost lost new players somewhere in the depths of blackmarsh or even another realm.
It gives these holidays more of an identity. What was once merely a tent and a merchants changing inventory has now become something that can be easily recognized and assist in "getting into the spirit". And yes, I did not forget that you folks implemented a dozen new random encounters last year (or 2022 even?) for us to stumble upon as we drag hard earned gold across the entire continent shamelessly exploiting the 10% discount on everything, everyone and their pet bantamguar.
So, to keep it short: I'm excited to see what the game will look like for upcoming festivities and how much it will develop in the future.
Cheers.
