ZOS forgot to put Guards at Skingrad's City Gates

I'm nitpicking.

But this was instantly a weird little oversight for me. Skingrad is a major Imperial City in the region, and there's not a soul standing outside the gates. No Skingrad Guard, no Legion. They expect me to just push those big honkin doors open myself, unchecked?

Back in the '580s nobody locked their doors, neighbourhoods were safer back then since everybody trusted each other...

That makes it even more tragic that suddenly, in the year 2E582, whole Tamriel is plagued by daedra, dragons, vampires, weird cultists, and even more daedra.

I still have mental scars from those times I was chased by Imperial guards in TES3 Morrowind. I guess these are the 'nice' Imperials that don't chase you for stealing a loaf of bread?

Seriously? Aren't you all aware that ZoS has had to cut corners to be able to pay skeever catchers to keep skeevers out of the zone? It's working well, not a single one seen so far. You can either pay guards or catchers, sometimes you can't afford both.

Well that's just fiscally inefficient. I say, some riled up senche at the gate would solve both their skeever and security problems.

    Those were the days!

Then again, strolling through the Imperial City has become much more enjoyable now the stuck up nobles are finally gone.

[To be honest, I'm more peaved by the fact that the bridge is closed!]
