Any word on sources for the new Gold Road Ayleid furnishing? (Answered)

I've been up and down the entire West Weald zone and done everything that is normally a source of furnishings and have not been able to get any leads or crafting plans for any of the new Ayleid furnishings except for Ayleid Sculpture, Grand Tree which drop like candy. Can't find anything online either, starting to think they forgot to add them...

If anyone has info on any of them please share, I will include a full list below and update the thread with sources if and when I find them.
  • Ayleid Arch, Wide: West Weald treasure map chest.
  • Ayleid Window, Large: West Weald treasure map chest.
  • Ayleid Lens Array, Reassembled: West Weald treasure map chest.
  • Ayleid Sculpture, Complex Tree: West Weald treasure map chest.
  • Ayleid Sculpture, Simple Tree: West Weald treasure map chest.

Update: After spending millions of gold on treasure maps I can confirm that all the above antiquities furnishings have the treasure map chests as the sole source for their leads. Be aware that the drop rate is quite low and that the potential pool of items is further diluted with other imperial themed furnishing leads (none of which are particularly interesting, some pottery and a few tapestries). Considering that West Weald treasure maps go for around 200,000 gold atm I strongly advice you wait for the prices to go down.

I would like to once again reiterate my objection, in the strongest terms possible, against gating these furnishings behind such a terrible system of multilayered RNG. Getting furniture plans and leads was already hard enough before this madness.

Really? I got nothing from all 3 of mine. So the leads are random drops from treasure maps which are also random drops themselves and it's totally random which lead you will get, if any. Gotta love that triple layer of RNG... NOT! I can't believe there is no reliable way to target farm these furnishings and they're bound so you can't even buy them from other players, what a nightmare!

Why in the world would they not make them rewards from achievements or drops from bosses, incursions, etc? Just a mindbogglingly bad design choice but I guess that's just par for the course these days... /sigh

There may be other sources for these furniture items, I don't know. I only know where I got mine, but it would be strange, as you said, if they only came from treasure maps and nowhere else.

Thought I'd just add that I got the Lens Array as a lead from a West Weald treasure map.

Yeah, sadly that’s how it works now. I looked into it and apparently that has been the default situation for a while. I just never noticed because I am typically only interested in Ayleid furnishings and we haven’t had any of those available outside to crown store since forever.

There is no way to target farm treasure maps for specific zones, no way to guarantee that you will get a specific lead from a treasure map chest, or any way to improve your chances aside from the Treasure Hunter champion point slotable.

The treasure maps are currently incredibly overpriced and given this multiple layer of RNG I am just not going to engage with this at all. Guess I will get them a couple months down the road or next year when the maps go down in price.

Very frustrating but it is what it is I guess.

Actually, we did have Ayleid furnishings from the luxury vendor last weekend, so that's another possible source: prices of the items varied up to about 50k, I recall.

Oh yeah, I got those of course. I meant from sources other than the luxury vendor, I always keep an eye out on him for goodies. And anyway all of the West Weald ones are associated with leads from what I can gather.

@ZOS_GinaBruno, @ZOS_JessicaFolsom, @ZOS_Kevin could you please confirm that the only source of leads for the following new antiquities furnishings Ayleid Arch, Wide; Ayleid Window, Large; Ayleid Lens Array, Reassembled: Ayleid Sculpture, Complex Tree; Ayleid Sculpture, Simple Tree introduced in the Gold Road DLC is from West Weald treasure map chests? So far it has been the only confirmed method of obtaining them which is extremely unorthodox and rather unfair due to the massive multi-layered RNG involved. Treasure maps are random drops and maps for specific zones cannot be selectively targeted and it is also completely random which furnishing lead you will get from a treasure chest, if any. Against my better judgement I decided to bite the bullet as it were and just spent millions of gold buying West Weald treasure maps and only got 1 lead for the Ayleid Sculpture, Complex Tree so the drop rate on the leads themselves is abysmal on top of everything else. It's also very strange that this rule does not seem to apply to the only other Ayleid furnishing lead from West Weald, namely Ayleid Sculpture, Grand Tree, which seems to drop from virtually any and all of the usual sources (I've already gotten half a dozen of them).

Please, please, say this is a bug or something and in case this was intended, for the love of the Divines, please reconsider and make these furnishing leads available from more conventional sources! :'(

There are 9 West Weald furnishings that drop from leads in treasure maps, and that one ayleid tree furnishing lead that is a random drop from "anything and everything" in the zone. As noted by the Display Leads addon.
    @Djennku, PCNA.

Grand Master crafter, all styles and all furnishing plans known pre U41.
Vamp and WW bites available for players.
Shoot me an in-game mail if you need anything, happy to help!

Those are all in maps, unfortunately:
So I'll be pretending they don't exist for at least a year (zone event was barely helpful last time).

    ...
At this time I still have the Apocryphal Well nor Trifold Mirror of Alternatives unlocked. (The latter is not a map lead, just terrible chances at Nightmare WB which is often not a fun fight.) The only people I've seen with 3/3 Wells have spent tens of millions on maps. For any housing I've wanted to use them in, I had to replace them, which defeats their purpose as something to build with.

Yeah, I wish I had done that too but I have no chill. Took me over 3 million gold worth of maps but I finally got them all. Furnishings, or anything else of note, should never be tied to something with multiple layers of RNG like that, it’s absolutely ridiculous!

To everyone who profited from my lack of chill I hope you don’t spend it all in one place. /sigh
