Phantom input when using the D-pad on Xbox Series

When using the d-pad in menus on Xbox series, the cursor will randomly skip maybe two or three entries. This occurs in collection menus, inventory and outfit stations to name a few. This has been tested on three separate consoles and 8 separate controllers.

NerfSeige✭✭✭✭Same issue on series s too and I got a new controller cause I thought my old one was broken.
Other things:
1. Left stick forward makes your character walk even without further input
2. Can't navigate menu using the dpad but can use the left stick, seems to get fixed for some time after visiting the crown store then goes back to broken again
3. Combat related input seems to be working fine
