Scribing Trample Skill - how many mounts sent out in that forward line?

Friend said it only sent out a single mount, in a narrow line. Also mentioned one of the scribing quest NPCs had a trample skill that sent out three mounts at once, side by side, much broader hit area. Also looks far more credible as a 'trample' skill, vs a solo mount sent out.

Are we as players, stuck with a single solo mount sent out, using the scribing trample skill? No way to have two or three sent out?

    Maybe it depends on whether the spell is single target, cone-shaped or a circle?

    (Can't say for sure, never got enough ink to give the skill a try myself XD)

    it is 1 mount, specifically your currently selected mount.

    edited to add:
    Alea has multiple mounts with her version of Trample yes, but they seem more like illusions in the screenshot i saw from someone

    our Trample is just our mount exactly how it always looks

    it is an area targeted skill, radius of 5 meters.
    it's always 1 mount

    Sad.

    ZOS, please consider letting us also have several mounts side by side rush out to trample our foes. One by itself just looks so weak in comparison. Visually especially. Side-stepping one mount is easy-mode. Side-stepping vs three mounts rushing me would be much more difficult.
