Question about Crown Gifting Status

I can never find a Crown seller in.my guild anymore and I just found out my hubby has a ton of Crowns saved up because he is not into housing or cosmetics.

He applied for Crown gifting so we can exchange crowns for gold, how long should we expect to hear back as to whether he will be approved or not? He submitted it on 5/22/2024 and he has not received any email messages regarding it.

He was going to gift me some housing furnishings since they are on sale but the sale will run out in just a few days.

Ticket number is 240522-006264

    Oh wow. Someone in my guild said to only took a day for them.

    I guess I will have to hope it goes through. It will cost more Crowns then. He needs the gold so I guess he will get more that way.

    I wish there was an easy way for people in the same household to trade. He’s not going to give them to anyone else.

    This was supposed to be a temporary solution, wasn’t it? I haven’t heard any more about it.

    I know right now there is no way for them to know where the Crowns will end up going, but the same credit card is tied to both accounts. It would be nice to be able to use them since we have already paid for them.

    I know of a lot of other couples in my guild who are in the same boat.

    @ZOS_Kevin Could i please ask you to look into my case as well. I requested ability to gift 9 days ago. Case: 240522-003963

    Personally i find it very weird that as an owner of account active for many years without issues i can not gift "Any race, any alliance" package to my friend, who is starting their adventure with ESO, yet i see people with names that look like they face-rolled the keyboard selling crowns everywhere. You are stopping the wrong people...

    If "gift" button is active in my crown store, does it mean I can goft gifts?

    You will get message if you can't Gift an item when you click on that button, button in it self doesn't indicate if you can or can not Gift in Store.

    That is a good question, i have no idea. Could you perhaps try with something you have enough crowns for?

    You will get that message if you have picked an item in store that cost more in Crowns then you have on your account. That is the first check that are being make when you press Gift button, next is if you are allowed to Gift which you will see if you have enough Crowns and try to Gift an item that cost less then the amount you have on account.

    It should be rather simple to understand that you can't purchase or Gift an item that will cost more then you have access to on your account.

    If you have very little Crown on account, then try Consumables (Utility section in Crown Store) as those should be at lower end to purchase with Crowns. As an example XP Scroll cost 300 Crowns (you can use it to test without going through and Gift item as that need a step where you will add information to which account and message that your Gift should be going).

    EDIT:
    Can see that you found out that it worked, but I leave this comment for other read in case they also have the same question and don't know how this works.
