Cannot see which Scripts are unlocked on alts without resorting to addons

On top of the absolutely insulting amount of braindead time wasting grind required, the game doesn't even seem to function properly here. Since achievements are account wide, you can't see in your achievement journal which Scripts your alts have unlocked. There's currently an addon that does it. I can only hope that this is a bug where Scripts were supposed to be account wide, like the Script achievement functionality would seem to imply, because redoing daily chore grinds on every alt is an absolute insult to adults with responsibilities who just shelled out $40.

At this point, i can say the game is unplayable without mods at all, at least it is becoming very annoying not funny.

You can actually browse them through skills window. There is Scribing tab and you can select everything and see what is missing and whatnot. Of course it is not like addon but there is way to see which ones you are missing.

Yeah you can click through some submenus to see which Scripts each individual Grimoire is missing, but Grimoires don't use every Script, only 8/20 or something. To see your total Script progress, you need the addon.
