Force Lockpicking is getting more annoying!

Despite i very often get this on screen below

and i believe i know exactly what to do
with it when came to Force Lock, i very often repeatedly fail and it's really annoying and it really can make me angry and sad if i fail like 10 times in row or/and even
more times in row as it happen to me almost everytime i Force Lock stuff, no matter if it's Simple, Intermediate, Advanced or Master on whatever i try Force Lock.

Is this game bugs or do i've just bad luck with Force Lock or what???

It happens all too often to me too. It's not bad luck. I burn so many lockpicks to fails at 85% chance. It's the game's poor random number generation system that in no way adheres to even pseudo random number generation statistics.

Okay noted, the reason I have more lockpicks than all of Tamriel needs is because I actually stop to pick locks instead of burning through the picks with the force mechanism! Nice

I've been wondering whether it's some kind of loading issue? I had the same problem (for years already), but since I wait a few seconds after the lockpicking screen opens, this issue rarely occurs anymore.

Try waiting to force until the timer is at 75% for me it seems to work 7 out of 10

Random exactly means such streaks happen all the time. If you don't like it, just pick the lock.

I quit using force lock when I failed on a chest and another player grabbed it while I was in cool down. I sometimes use it on a door but not often. Just kind of got used to picking the lock myself.

Exactly what I noticed, too. It only breaks several times in a row if you try to break it immediately. If you wait for a few moments, it doesn't happen. That's why I suspect there might be some loading issues. If there's a clear difference in outcome, it can't be just rng.

10 times in a row? Maybe more? What?

I never failed more than 3 o 4 in a row (in fact I think i never failed 4 in a row) playing since day 1.

Yes. This guarantees a maximum of 30 seconds to open.
You also get the XP, which under the right conditions can be as high as 11K.

An individual pick will fail on the eighth or ninth tumbler, meaning you will only ever open a maximum of 2 chests with one pick. The lockpick will fail on a specific tumbler i.e. one tumbler will always show more problems.

I gave up Forcing for the reasons outlined above.

On the 'force chance' I have no idea how this works.

Heh, I've found the hardest lock to force are intermediate. All the other seem to go on a first try, but intermediates fail over and over and over again...

BTW, the OP didn't mention if she has maxed the legerdemain passive that helps lock forcing - I assume so? Makes a big difference
Other than, I have also noticed that waiting a few seconds before forcing also makes a big difference whether forcing is successful

I almost never get a fail with master( I am maxed out) but simple for some reason often fail. I cannot understand it.
