The Dragon in Scholarium

In the game files, the Dragon in Scholarium is female, but in the game, the Dragon speaks with a clear male voice. Yes, special filters are used to reduce the male baritone, but this is a 100% male voice.
@ZOS_Kevin Is the Dragon's gender incorrect in the game files or was this done on purpose?

I can't speak for the English version, but in my localization, she sounds like an old lady. So yes, it's a deep voice, but if you listen closely, it's female. And considering how old and big the dragon is, is does make sense.

It's a woman voicing the Dragon, despite your perception of the tone. Rachel Crowl is her name.
    Thank Stendarr it’s Fredas.

ZOS calls her “she”. The voice is very androgynous to me, not straight-up male.

You're trying to fit voices into black and white masculine/feminine categories when in fact:
    1. women with deep voices exist
    2. men with high pitched voices exist
    3. transgender people exist
    4. people can change the pitch of their voices, up to a limit depending on their ability

A small note from someone who has done classical singing for some years: There are more differences between female and male voices than just the pitch. Some of it is based on cultural norms that children unconsciously pick up while growing up, but there are also some differences when it comes to the shape of the larynx. Most trans women, but also some trans men, who want to have a passing voice visit a logopedist for voice training for a reason.
