scribing question: more than one version of a skill for one character?

Part of the appeal of scribing is its versatility. You can customize skills. However, can you scribe more than one version of a skill on a single character? Eg if you want a damage version of magic soul but also a healing version? Or is this impossible given the structure of the skill book?
I've read there are up to 4000 combinations, but can you only have one of each per character?

You can only have one version per skill, so you cannot have at healing wield soul and damaging wield soul at the same time.

But, what to do if you decide you made the wrong version? Can you delete it?

you can change it at the Scribing altar with Luminous Ink

Yes only one configuration per character. You cannot save save and load it from armory either.
You can always change the configuration by visiting the altar and spending ink again.

I believe they mentioned somewhere that adding scribed skills to armory builds was something they were at least looking into.
