Having various quest givers showing in multiple locations within a zone is unrealistic and makes the game look bad. There are a lot of examples of this, so I don't think I need to cite any here.

Quest givers don't just stand in one spot any more than we do. It makes sense that they would travel to different locations as the story unfolds.

Why? What do you have against exploration?

No, I'm talking about quest givers for a specific quest that appear in multiple locations within a zone, offering the *same* quest. This just ruins the game, in my opinion, and it's unrealistic.

No idea what you're talking about, because the topic of this thread is quest givers, not exploration.

I get what you're saying. Leramil is practically everywhere until you take the initial Necrom quest. Could be very annoying. I don't really care about the realism part. It's a fantasy game.

I dislike that too. It's like they practically hound you at every exit and main city within the same zone.

Leramil, no offence, but one of my alters already helped you, no need to appear around every corner or jump out of every bush. Maybe she could go wait at the inn, enjoy a nice glass of wine.

She can send us a letter/mail once per character on where to find her when we arrive in zone or something. My current character is just a thief who wishes to not be pestered.

There are a few which are annoying. Like somewhere in Vvardenfell you'll run into a small town and these people will be having side quest dialogue, but you're only running through so when you get to the other side, those same people are there having the same conversation.

Or when you're trying to harvest mudcrabs (if you can beat the farming bot army) near Haven and some random guy keeps running at you over and over.

If they didn't do it this way there would be complaints about not being able to find quest givers. So they put them in places that get a lot of player traffic to make them visible.

Or they don't want you to come any closer!

    So much for exploration!

It’s not so bad if they appear at either end of a town for example, but the quest giver for Sailenmora has a marker seen near the wayshrine and is also in view slightly ahead as you start to run northwards up the road. Shouldn’t really be in two places at once lol.

I agree that quest givers need to be out of the way. I hate seeing and hearing Leramil all the time because she’s right next to the wayshrine and its unsettling seeing her all over town. If people are looking to start the main quest theres literally a button in the zone guide that’ll show them where the quest npc is, we don’t need them everywhere.
