How to open Scholarium on Alts

I wanted to confirm just what we have to do to open the Scholarium on an alt.
I did the first part of the quest up until I am asked to speak to the Crow to open the door of the Indrik. I can now buy the grimoire's on my alt .. is this all I have to do?
Do I lose functionality of the shrine due to not having the doors opened on my alt and not having the luminaries empowering the alter?

✭✭✭That is all you have to do, the first quest unlocks everything for an alt. The upgrades are accountwide, and the altar only requires the first quest.
PS: The quests do give ink, and the final one grants a grimoire you would no longer have to buy.2 -
