Script Drops

Trying to establish how the drops for these work because I have been doing some stuff with a guild mate today and while scripts are dropping for me, they just don't seem to be for her and we can't figure out why not.

I unlocked everything on my main toon, and did the tutorial quest only on one of my alts, mainly because that toon is the one that does all the tough stuff these days. On my alt today I did the following:

Daily delve in West Weald - got script
Daily world boss in West Weald - got script
Daily world event in West Weald - got script
Daily mages guild - got script
Daily fighters guild - got script
Daily undaunted - no script

My friend came on the undaunted run with me and also had the quest but even though she was on the main toon and the one who had done all the quests to start scribing and unlock the drops, she didn't get a script from the quest.

Wondering what we might be missing here. I presumed that the first three I got were the 100% chance ones (one of each type of script) and that the guild ones were just lucky drops for me. But why didn't my friend get her 100% success drop with the undaunted quest?

Any ideas?

Just to clarify: Did your friend complete each of the Wings (Indrik, Netch, Dragon, Gryphon) on at least one character or just the tutorial? Did your friend do the dailies on a different character on the same account beforehand?

You should be guaranteed 9 scripts per day assuming you have a coffer from each of the relevant sources:

1 each from the Fighter, Mages, and Undaunted daily coffers
1 each from Delve, World Boss, and World Event daily coffers
1 each from Cyrodiil and Imperial City daily coffers, and Rewards for the Worthy.

But each Script type requires you to complete one of the Wings to unlock the upgrade for your entire account, and then it should drop for all characters. Every coffer after the first of that type on that day only has a 25% chance and that cooldown is global across all characters on the account. So if your friend already did the dailies on a different character beforehand, it would just be unlucky RNG.

Thanks. I think we have figured it out. She had done all of the quests to unlock the various drops. She had actually done them before I had finished.

We hadn't realised that the undaunted one was the delve one. We always forget about that one. Both got a script from doing that one. We didn't realise that undaunted didn't mean the pledges. Duh! Too similar names.
