Scripts, focus, signature and affix.

So I spent quite some time getting them all (save a very few affix scripts) on my main guy, but I have 2 more characters that I play daily (pvp). Is there a faster way to get the scripts on alts after you have collected them on your main? Is there somewhere to buy the ones you have already collected on your main etc ? thx in advance.

Sadly, no. You get a discount on the ones you can buy from vendors, and ofc you can pick the mages guild ones for free, but most script you will have to grind.

Ah, dissapointing. I hate doing stuff more then once in a game, twice is "ok" ish, but three times? ugh, thats a sad grind.

where do all these drop from ? ! - can only find 1 per day in PVP 'Reward for the Worthy' coffers

Ditto. This is the most alt-unfriendly system added to the game yet. I usually try to do everything on my main, but I think I’m going to have to hold off this time around and just hang onto scripts. I have seven characters, and all of them are geared for Cyrodiil. Going to have to figure out which scribing skills are must-haves for each character and just work on those, severely limiting my choices in the process…

I thought scribing was supposed to open up more possibilities for our characters and give us more build freedom?

Scribing is a very cool addition to ESO, but unless I'm/we're missing something, the system seems pretty flawed.

If it's going to take unacceptable levels of grinding so you can't fully utilise spell creation for a very very long time, or cater to alts, then that will be/is incredibly frustrating.

All players, regardless of Gold Road ownership, have a very small chance to receive Scripts via world drops, which are unbound and tradeable

So... in distant future... you might possibly find these in guild stores.
Haven't heard of anyone dropping one of these.

Right now IMO best way it to spam quick quests and and not bind scripts you actually want to use and give them to other alts instead. Bind those that you don't see using soon/ever.

Scribing is awesome and I'm very happy they listened to feedback regarding repetition of the (very boring) questline. Binding all the scripts to time-gated dailies individual to each toon though? Yuck. Great way to get people to immediately lose interest. Nobody here paid $40 to do daily chores, we paid $40 for Scribing.

Yes, I mean I can go along doing scripts on one char, for then to be able to buy them for 5-10k gold on vendor after.

Anyone figure out the class mastery script from Infinite archive? The guides say when you complete infinite archive.... I didn't know much about it but I'm pretty sure the infinite archive is well infinite....

I went through 3 levels of it yesterday and didn't get a single page.

Yeah I stopped at Arc 4 cuz I didn't get a single drop, the quest didn't give any scripts for me. I have 40/50 so far (becoming emperor in cyrodiil gives you 25 as a fyi). Was trying to finish it yesterday but ended up not. I'll definitely get the last 10 today.

vMA also gave me 3. I placed 2nd on the leaderboard and it says in the guide pages from completing and placing on the leaderboard so idk how that's rewarded.

Class Mastery is from consuming 50 Script Scraps. You get the scraps from activities like Dungeons, Trials, etc. once you have 50 of them you will get the Class Mastery Script. Every other character can then purchase it from Firandil.

When you say you went through “3 levels” do you mean you made it to Arc 4? Or did you just beat 3 stages? I believe you need to get the daily quest and finish it (Pass Arc 1 by defeating the Tho’at)

ya i did the daily and got nothing as well. idk what im missing, maybe its not guaranteed? idk

Is there a way to see all of the grimoirs and scripts that a character has bound besides going to the scriptorium altar? I’d like to have a tab under collections in the UI to have it all in one place.

I am not concerned about the script/affix grind at all - I don't have enough ink to even do anything with them when I get them...

This is an odd compliant considering they are purchaseable from guild traders. Do you also have issues running potions or applying food buffs?

Is that one per day per account for ALL of the listed dailies, or just for EACH of them? So if I handed in a fighters guild daily and then handed in a mages guild daily, would I get a 100% chance for each or only a 100% chance for the fighters guild daily and a 25% chance for the mages guild daily?

It’s not the same at all. Ink is the only item required to craft any skill. Without it the scribing system is obsolete. I haven’t encountered even 1 drop since launch. It’s like having harvesting nodes for food or potions but having a 0.5% chance of actually getting a drop from that node.

So how much does ink sell for on guild stores ?

Nevermind I answered my own question. It is one per day for each of them. So today I have gotten:

One from fighters guild daily.
One from mages guild daily.
One from IC daily.
One from Cyro scouting mission board daily.
One from Cyro Bruma daily. (SO TOWNS DO GIVE SCRIPTS).
