annoying bar swap sound (scribing skills)

Is there a way to turn off this annoying bar swap sound when ever using a scribing skill on weapon bars ? sucks and hurts my head. i got headache after playing for a while. Whats that good for ? to make sure not falling asleep while playing ? if not possible yet PLEASE add any option to turn it off. it´s really so damn annoying

What sound is it? I’ve not experienced a sound with scribed skills. Are you wearing a polymorph, using weapons from an arms pack, or have your ultimate cast-able only on one bar? Those can all cause sounds.

I had the same issue. The cause is from the S'rendarr addon. It is treating some of the scripted abilities as a proc.

The Fix:
On the "General" tab, expand the "General Options". Find "Enable bar proc animations" - Set to off.

A second option:
On the "General" tab, expand the "General Options". Find "Play sound on proc" - It is a pull down menu - Change to "None".

Note: Only one "fix" from above needs to be applied based on player personal preference.

The first "fix" will disable all proc animations on the ability bar (and by extension the sound).
The second option should still show the ability proc animations but will not make the annoying sound.

(This issue has already been posted by others for the addon author. Some coding workarounds may also exist for those so inclined.)
