Crossing the Chasm the fox stops half way and will not move. Anyone got a fix??

I used Streak and remembered the direction I was facing by finding focus points like a tree in the distance. Made it much easier to reach the glyph and dispel.

theres a bunch of them floating in the air and they need to be dispelled to continue

I just finished it with no issues. As the fox stops you have to dispel the wards. Stand at the fox and look around, you'll see them.

weird, had no issues with any of these scribing quests when going through but guess there is some bugs with it lol

So if there is bug report with answer from Kevin that devs are aware now, so there is some bug what appear is some situations.
Just because someone gets through the quest without a problem doesn't mean there isn't a problem
I haven't gotten to the quest yet, so I can't judge.
Maybe jist that wards wasn't there so how you can dispel smething what isn't there? Just question.

I spent two hours trying to do this quest yesterday. Kevin replied to my crying online with a fix. I dropped the quest waited 15 mins and started again. This was after two hrs of trying everything.

After I had essentially given up I did what Kevin suggested and did it on the last try.

The last time was the first time I saw three more wards to the left and right and was able to jump to the platform.

Never so happy to finish anything.

Thanks again, Kevin, and all the devs who made it happen.

Would it be possible to change the thread title? I was hoping to be surprised by the final wing. The content came out yesterday, so it's still spoilers for a lot of people

Do you honestly think that this is the issue? That people simply aren’t clearing the wards? This bug prevents the wards from ever showing in the first place, so no… you can’t just “dispel the wards? lol”

Again, The bug prevents the wards from ever showing up in the first place.

some of them i had to do a little looking around and not blatently obvious right away

i was not immediately assuming there was a bug at play as there was no screenshots or any other real description of the problem as the OP literally just said:

there was no indication that the wards never spawned in the first place

And what I do with every chapter / DLC launch is look at the Bug Report section because I wanna know if I encounter some progress breaking bug.
And when I saw this thread I immediately wrote link for bug report for this issue what is 3h older that that thread.
An I am glad that OP managed to conmplete that quest thanks to workaround wroted by ZOS_Kevin in bug report written by @RicAlmighty.
