I got "strange icon" which is placed at the skill menu in the West Weald area.

What is that?

    I see 2 icons (buttons) in the Skill page now, both at the top right: the lefthand one is for the "Assignment" tab and the righthand one is for the "Scribing" tab. Perhaps AvalonRanger is referring to that righthand icon?

    they're new with Gold Road and earned in the chapter.

    if you have a skill style unlocked for a skill you can click on the icon and select it

    Those icons mean that it is possible to obtain recolors for these specific skills. Clicking on these icons will show what recolors are obtainable and the necessary achievements to unlock them.
