Script drops

Do you have to have all the stuff on all characters for them to drop or once you unlock on main does it go account wide? Same question but for class scripts specifically.

As far as I understood, you need to do intro quest and wing of indrik on alt for everything you unlocked before to start dropping.

For class mastery, you need Signature scripts unlocked once (Wing of the dragon), nothing special for alts, have same wing of indrik completed.
I got 1 scrap form 200 master writs btw

I did 50 and got one have a strong feeling those are once a day per activity or really bad chances.

You need to unlock Scribing on all characters (by completing The Second Era of Scribing), but only need to complete the whole questline on one character for the Script drops to be unlocked from the various sources for everyone. They’re only guaranteed from the first box a day from each source though and 25% after that. Near as I could tell the cooldowns are account wide but each source had a distinct cooldown. (EX: Focus Scripts drop from Rewards of the Worthy, Mages Guild dailies and Delves, so one from each of those, but switching to a different character after opening a Mages Guild daily box and opening another one has a 25% chance of a drop, not 100%.)

On PTS I got 2 out of 60, with first on very first writ.

Actually, patch notes say you only need first quest:

After completing the Scribing questline, when using alt characters, you will only have to complete the Second Era of Scribing to take full advantage of the Scribing System.

I don't know where I got idea about Indrik quest...

On PTS you used to need the Indrik quest too, but they took the feedback that this was tedious to heart and reduced the requirement to just The Second Era of Scribing.

Correction, you don't have to unlock scribing on any other toon for scripts to drop, only the first one.
The grind isnt too bad, I finished all focus and signatures (except class ofc) in 1 day.

First thing I did today was open IC coffer and RftW coffer who haven't left Leyawiin yet and did nothing for scribing - can confirm, got both relevant type scripts

They placed the scripts in the worst possible locations, I really dislike the mages/fighter guild dailies/PvP! And they are WAY too expensive at the merchant. Scripts, like ink, should be random drops everywhere.

Will probably unlock scribing and never touch it again.

PS: Are the scripts unlocked per account or per character? Seems like this should be accountwide, as there are so many.

I didn't even start quest yesterday and got some script or what from miniboss at gold road "vent" world event at afternoon. I started scribing quest at late evening to see what that thing do.

Script drop from regular delve/boss/world event quests too

This was also in Gina's PTS post:

All players, regardless of Gold Road ownership, have a very small chance to receive Scripts via world drops, which are unbound and tradeable

So I just took a second character through the scribing tutorial and the indrik quest. Scripts are per character, and the scholarium is also per character. As it only unlocked the indrik for me, and not the other luminaries I had unlocked on my other character already.

Request: Change this around! Make the scripts accountwide unlocks, but have us do all the luminarie's quests per character to unlock access to all those scripts. (basically every script you gather expands your scribing library for all your characters)

Right now it is just too time-consuming to gather all scripts for every character(and costly, dang those prices in the scholarium/infinite archive). Would be better to have to do all the luminarie's quests(6 hours or so) per character, and only having to collect all scripts once per account. This would also make scribing actually usable/accessible more easily.

They will likely sell access to it just like you can buy other skill lines in the store.

They could still sell access to a complete scholarium once a player has that fully unlocked on a character. Similar to the other skilllines in the store.
Edit: They could even sell ink in the store.

How in blazes did you do that when it's 100% drop rate only on the first script every day? I am desperate to get the shock damage focus script and I've done dozens of daily delve quests and still have 11 scripts left to unlock. That 25% drop rate on subsequent attempts is an abomination!

wing of the indrik is required for ink drops from enemy kills
wing of the netch is required for ink drops from material nodes
wing of the dragon and gryphon are required to get scripts from dailies (they both have a subset of dailies)

personally i felt that doing the entire scribing line would be too time consuming to bother on other characters

the biggest bottleneck for the system honestly is probably the luminous ink, which you could do the entire scribing line on alts to get the "freebie" ink (there was around 12 total ink awarded for completing the entire scribing line)
