DC'd for going over a message limit?

I constantly get dc'd with this message limit *** when I haven't sent any messages...

The messaging system is used for more than just chat and mail. Pretty much anything that needs to communicate with the server is a message.

It happens. If it starts happening often I would submit a ticket because I think it is the same thing that can lead to a social ban.

Which platform are you playing on?

If you're on PC sometimes add-ons can cause issues with excessive messages.

I play NA and occasionally get DC'd due to exceeding the 'message limit'??? Today I typed in 3 sentences and before I could finish the 3rd message I was dropped to the login screen.

Is there a way I can avoid this besides not communicating? I read where an admin suggested that certain add ons can cause this.. How about telling us which add ons do this so we can delete them? Are there any other reasons? I've been playing this game for ten years and over the past year or so is the only time I've experienced this.
