Screen dimming prevents logging out for inactivity

Not sure if this is intended, but the new screen dimming feature seems to be preventing me from being logged out for inactivity. I was gone for an hour and a half and still logged in, and it doesn't look like I got hit by any skills that would trigger 'activity'. The patch notes talk about reducing GPU use while inactive, but doesn't mention not being kicked anymore so I assume it's a bug.

Do you happen to have the Crown Store or some other window open? Also, do you have a controller plugged in?

Hi Gina, no I did not have any windows open, and do not have a controller plugged in.

I would prefer this approach.

I HATE getting logged out just as I am reaching to move because I got distracted for a bit away from the game....

Had a case coming from background after being afk and could not recover from dimmed screen all was dark. Had to reload UI. Was still able to move etc.

Updating to say that I have been getting kicked for inactivity all this afternoon. I don't know if I was just standing in the *perfect* spot earlier or if something got fixed on the backend since then, but seems to be working as intended now.

I hate screen dimming. I hate it ennough after playing over 10 year I am considerinng leaving the game. I've done it to other games that did it. I really hate screen dimminng. I have spent the time to make sure it was disabled on all my monitors. Made sure it was off in Nvidia drivers. Made sure it was disabled in Windows 11 system. Then they think its a good idea to turn in on (hard coded with no known short cuts to fix) in ESO. Bad idea, it will cost you customers. That is a fact.
