ESO in VR

Unless or until they block it. There have been other tools like that one and all the anti-cheat garbage keeps blocking them because they've got no idea if it's a pedometer or a bot control network.

Probably a lot safer to stick to doing that in Skyrim VR.

Iv'e been playing ESO with VorpX in VR since launch never had a single issue.

Usually a person needs to adapt to VR, need to train the mind/body to overcome the motion sickness because when your brain thinks you are moving but your body is static, it creates a disconnect between the two that causes enough confusion to make you feel ill.

Like does this actually work? Normal Skyrim gave motion sickness so I. Curious

Here's a 3D screenshot. If you cross your eyes you should be able to see depth. Of course you'd need the gear to see it full-screen.

Will look up for a ESO VR guide if there is one

I would like a integrated VR system a bit more :D with the possibility to actually move my arm,…
I would be something to actually make me addicted to play eso. And i think the game is almost made for a VR audience. It looks perfect.

Minimal buttoms for skills with the ulti being LT+RT.

    Integrated first person camera.

    Beautiful visuals

Only problem will be limited people per zone because of render speeds i’m afraid.

I really hope someday i can play eso in a vr setting. Here’s to the future of mmo.

(Eso would actually wipe the floor with current vr mmorpg’s)

The only major drawback I can see with VR ESO is that the first splashy, exploding, radiant apex mount you see will probably have you hurling your guts all over the place! :)
    PC(Steam) / EU / play from Melbourne, Australia / avg ping 390

I think that this can be done with vorpx but I don't know how great it is

I can confirm it works in vorpx with oculus rift

    And it’s awesome

Even a limited VR experience would be great. Start small, imagine seeing your characters life size on the character select screen, then maybe walk around your houses. I don't think I'd do too well PvPing in VR though :dizzy:

1st person combat is nuts. Especially as your head controls which way you’re looking

You find yourself punching and blocking . It’s quite a thing

    Just for poops and chortles..

How cool would it be to walk around the whole of ESO in VR?

Before my concussion I use to play ESO in VR all the time....Vorpx has always worked well for me I know a lot of folks don't like it but I've never had any issue...though Unreal has a much superior VR plug in, but of course only works for Unreal engine.

The great thing about ESO in VR is you just sit down and play in a a gorgeous VR world no jumping around....

Also... ESO in VR is simply amazing

I have always said more VR games need to be created where you just sit down and play normally only in VR... most people hate jumping around like a idiot

One day a developer is going to be brave enough to try it (and I'm not talking about the lame happy hopping games we have now) and it will be a license to print money.

Aside from the flashes that can blind you I want to point out something I wouldn't have thought before experiencing it myself: emotions in VR get amplified.

You suffer from vertigo? Looking down from a high place like Alinor palace can hit you waaay harder than from the TV screen.

You suffer from arachnophobia? You don't want to go in Scrivener's hall in VR.

I just read an article about the upcoming Meta Quest 3 Lite and I would like to check it out even with just ESO streamed via Xbox Cloud (I sold all my past gear), but what prevent me from falling for VR are two factors: discomfort and time.

I've my TV on all day, playing or watching stuff. I can't do that with a VR headset because 1) battery won't last 2) it would NOT be comfortable.

If those 2 problems get solved VR, and especially ESO in VR, would be awesome!
From what I've already seen, ESO has a devastating potential in VR if you focus on questing, gathering, housing, even some World Events or Dungeons... But PvP and Trials could be too hard.

    Greetings,

We have gone ahead and closed this thread down since it is rather old. Please keep in mind that sometimes it is better to create a new topic, instead of replying in one that was posted a while ago.

    Thank you for your understanding.
