Shadow Disguise should get nerf by have the cost be from 37k to 60 or 80k and that would make NB less fun for playing in a suck way of shadow and attack you behind your back, yea how is that fun for anyone who play pvp and is not good or don't kill anyone, just wanna win so yea I hope this happen soon.

How is it fun to run around in large groups and chasing after 1 to 3 people. No one in the large group is good, but you can no longer survive in solo and small group play. Not fun. PvP is terrible because a large majority of the people who speak out a lot are the people who don't understand combat mechanics or how to fight specific classes or playstyles and they spend a lot of time complaining about it. Nightblade gankers aren't very good and can be easily out healed and even easier to kill them as they're typically very squishy as well as many things pull them out of stealth. If you are dying to a nightblade out of stealth, I'd say you're not in a proper PvP build i.e. stat allocation, CP, and armor traits.

I'm level 1767 and yes I don't play pvp unless it to earn rewards and especially transmut on the pvp match finder but No I don't play in the pvp arena where there is more that 50 players so yea is just to earn rewards that all but is not fun when NB kill me like that when I'm not trying to fight back but they won't do that against 2 or 3 players at the same time, just one player when they be alone which is pathetic that is their only best strategy to do.

So because the NB is smart and targets person who is solo and doesn't know how to play the game, rather than go in alone against a team where their chances of success is far lower, this makes you angry?

I'm not really angry, just disappointed see players play like that which show no skills and not even trying, like why can all classes do this then maybe it make the game much better where we all can have fun, to me that would be fair if all classes do same thing NB do.

Saying that ganking doesn't take skill is a wild take. If it is such an easy way to play, go do it.

EDIT: Every class can gank. Using invis potions, being a vampire, or just stealthing. Yes, NB has a dedicated skill for invis, but every one can do it. It's not something "one class can do".

This genuinely sounds like a case of “git gud”. People try to gank me all the time, and the only ones who succeed in killing me are the ones who can actually stand up and fight with skill because the gank never gets me in one shot. So if you’re just dying to a simple gank, you need to look at your build and make adjustments, not tell ZoS to essentially eliminate an entire playstyle. Because those same NBs killing you in a gank would probably kill you in a brawl, too. Then what would you tell ZoS to change for your sake?

Believe me, those nbs aren't particularly good at the game. They usually panic when cornered and focus more on running away rather than fighting, so if you force them into a fight then it is typically an easy kill. I highly recommend that if you plan to continue delving into PvP for any reason, and don't wish to be annoyed by lame nbs, then you should look into a PvP build or at least solo survivability which would mostly consist of self heals and sustaining stamina and magicka. Fairly easy to accomplish.

Shadow Cloak should only be a pve ability. All players can stealth and sneak, and that would level the playing field if the nb did not have an insta cast invisibility skill. This skill has been so prevalent in ESO for so long, it would upset NB players if it were ever altered - but a happy medium where it causes invisibility with npc's, but perhaps only camouflage that works better when one is not moving in pvp. As an example, think of the movie predator and how the predator has a camo cloak ability, but when it move one can see the warped camouflaged shape. This would still take some awareness to see, and be most effective if not moving at all.
The insta cast invisibility spell with no cooldown has always been a bit overpowered since day 1.
Abilities like Sorerer Streak were nerfed so that they were less spammable, but the nb invisibility spell, which is arguably much more powerful than Streak, never experienced the obvious need for some kind of nerf such as every increasing cost if used repetetively - imagine if the cost doubled with every cast and/or had a 4 sec cooldown so the character would at least be revealed for 1 second before being able to cast again. Shadow Cloak was slightly nerfed with an increased cost....some may nor may not know or remember but Shadow Cloak used to cost only around 1100 magicka (along with siphon). Even roll dodge and other abilities have penalties with increasing cost if 'spammed'. If any skill deserves this, it is the Shadow Cloak abilities.
Again, a camo effect would be even better with the stealth ability being a pve/npc thing.

Or...remove this ability from nightblades and put it in the skill tree for dark brotherhood or thieves guild/legerdemain - which would allow everyone to cloak if they leveled up these skill lines (just like abilities unlock with fighter's guild, mage's guild, etc etc. This availability for any class would be such a nice feature. The cloak ability is so useful that I can say I do not even like to play a thief etc unless on a NB. I have done it, but the ability to hide is so useful. One of the game problems is that if one is caught and ends up in combat, one cannot go through doors to escape. The cloak skill takes one out of combat. So where any other class would be discovered and potentially killed or have to murder everyone in the area (and run up a huge additional bounty), the nb cloak skill allows one to escape around a corner. Having this skill available to any class would certainly add a twist to pvp!! and also satisfy that desire to be able to be an effective thief on a different class. As it stands now, I would not want to do any thieving on a class other than nb because of this huge benefit available only to the nb class. I know..there are invisibility potions, and escape draughts, and all sorts of things to use...but the cloak is the best.

One other thought is to somehow make incapacitating strike a regular ability, and make an invisibility spell the ultimate.
While not a damage dealing ability, the buff that gives one a guaranteed crit after using cloak is very powerful, too.
Shadow Cloak is probably one of the most overpowered skills in the game that has hardly been nerfed to any extent close to the nerfs experienced by other skills.

As a nightblade that uses dark cloak over shadowy disguise, you over estimate shadowy disguise by a whole lot.

Firstly, invis pots have been a thing for a very long time as well as unnatural movement so stealth isn't necessarily explicit to nightblades it just so happens to be their whole class identity.

Secondly, stealth is actually very easy to deal with and if you're fighting players who are spamming it, then they are not utilizing it properly and are just wasting their resources, or they are running away in which if you can't kill them, which you should be able to, then just let them go and switch targets or reposition somewhere that they are forced into confined spaces. or just run back to your zerg.

Finally, to remove or change either of the cloak morphs at this point would be foolish as the game is already mostly broken and hardly works properly while also having been in the worst of metas for the past few years now. The game honestly has bigger issues than worrying about a few players who don't know what to do against an invisible nightblade. I would hope they fix performance issues first and would like to see a return to mechanical tech skill i.e. animation canceling burst combos and a return to solo 1vX playstyle without riding outside of zergs. Unfortunately the skill based combat for this game is dead and will never return but I've been hopeful since like 2018. or 19? When did they introduce cast times again?....

Gang builds are not so much strong as they are nasty, if you have a good build then the gang will most likely not kill you unless he gets all the critical attacks. The problem is that good gang builds are still very thick in terms of protection and make it possible to forgive many mistakes and get away with impunity, imagine a fat carcass constantly jumping into the shadows and trying to catch you making a mistake, and who is extremely unpleasant to catch from the shadows and try to kill. Really annoying

If i understand this correctly, you want a build that works in both pve and pvp without having to switch gear or mundus or skills ect. And if that is the case, I highly recommend against that. PvP build will be able to work well enough but not top tier in PvE content however, PvE builds will not work in PvP. If you run a sort of mix PvE PvP build, you will without a doubt perform sub optimally. You wont be able to sustain enough damage nor will you be able to put out enough damage, but you may be able to sustain resources (that wont help you too much).

if I misunderstood, then i apologize and disregard what I've said.

You got it right but sets like pillar,Tarnished,Wretched even bloodrinker, frostbite and some craft sets as example do work on both mode, I try as bleed warden and frost warden and I been getting kills so it a possibility that will work, just need to adjustment but I also play as one bar too.
