Don’t believe it. If that’s the case then ZoS has really slipped up on communication. Literally nothing mentioned anywhere until today’s AUA. It’s shocking and really shows the amount of respect they have for their player base.

I think it’s very realistic. The servers haven’t always had the best performance obviously but the degree to which lag, freezing, etc has been occurring is likely due to that. I do agree that they slipped up on not communicating this directly to the player base until the AUA, but I think saying the severity was largely due to several DDOS attacks is very understandable. Not good, but it makes sense

Did you notice that the DDoS got worse when they acknowledged that there was a DDoS?
I really don't think that sort of thing should be mentioned until it's over and dealt with, because it emboldens the attackers, knowing they're having an effect. I wish they hadn't confirmed it.
