A humble request for fake tanks and healers

I don't really care if my normal random group gets a fake tank or healer, but if you choose to do that I have a humble request:

At least be able to dps. If not, slot a heal or ice staff+taunt so you're not completely useless.

I don't care if the players who queue in as dps aren't good at it, but if you're going to skip the queue with a role you don't intend to try to perform, you should be at least okay at dpsing.

All the fakers have made the wait times for support roles so much longer I'm now thinking of queue as a fake DPS aka using my healer build as a DPS. The wait time will be shorter.

It makes sense that you're on a different platform because that's definitely not the experience on PC/NA currently. Although, there is an uptick in false roles which I attribute to a lull in overall player activity resulting in a greater percentage of enthusiasts playing IMO.

Even a couple of months ago this wasn't the case. I don't think it's a great trend... :-(

When I first started this game, I would queue as a healer. I did heal. I did put out resources. Yet I still often carried the group with my DPS, as I did more than the rest of the group combined, and I was not trying to nor did I do great DPS as a healer since that was not my role.

One might wonder why I no longer use the GF to get a dungeon group. lol.

You somehow think that those players will care about their usefulness in group, while they are cheating with group roles.

It is good to have some beliefs in people. But I personally don't have any here

It's still like that. I'm doing it for transmute crystals. I don't mind carrying the dps as a healer if everyone is actually trying their best, but it gets annoying when they're faking their role can't do anything else well on top of that.

I know they're shameless and couldn't care less. It's just how many people are these days. It is the root of many problems.

If you run randoms on normal you don't need a tank, 1 healer and 3 dps are enough

from what i see, less people real tank or heal because when they are with thier damage dealing characters they cannot expect the same support. any dungeon is just so much better when playing real roles even if learning those roles. i also tank much less in dungeons now, been months since i tanked a random vet or healed in one and have no real plans to do those regular again either. if i could enjoy dd'ing with real healers and tanks when i queued i would probably enjoy randoms in all roles again. as it stands now for the first time in many years if i need some transmutes rather than do the daily vet with a few characters i'll just do them in normal mode where mostly if lucky i'll get a non dlc one too and the fake rolers can be tolerated. why people are still refusing to make groups in the group finder for dd runs i dont know but in the dungeon finder the roles 1 healer 1 tank 2 damage are there for a reason which surely is not hard to guess. also i guess who is to say its wrong with tanks in the past doing nothing but complain about low dps even if the dps was alright to get the job done. maybe people just thought hey...3 is better than 2 for you. so long healers...i am still trying to figure out the fun to be had in fake tanking though

Oh, I am aware it is still like that. Sometimes we queue with only 3 of us and get to see first hand what the current state is. And yes, we do it for transmutes. Most of us have enough keys to last us for awhile.
