So maybe it could be a viable compromise to make the style wearable by all classes but it only gives the glow when the class of the toon corresponds to the style. (ideally with a toggle off option in the menue to turn the glow off if someone does not like the glow at all even if the class is the right one).

Yeah, but the style alone isn't what causes the glow. Its the actual set that causes the glow. SO that would never makes sense.
Nightblade mask is not up for grabs .

no it is the style and the set.
5 of either can give you the glow.
While I do enjoy not having to bother with IA, it is sad that they killed the possibility of people engaging with it for those outfit styles. I know I wanted some of the templar pieces originally and I'm sure I could have found a use for the nightblade mask in some outfits, but as I'm a sorc.... well. And the sorcerer stuff is terrible, looks like some base game overland set from 10 years ago so I extra won't ever bother.tomofhyrule wrote: »I was (and still am) very disappointed in this change - so much so that it's basically nuked me desire to play IA.

On Xbox NA, having 5 pieces of the style will not give your character the glow, at least with 2 of the five being weapons.
