Hi, this has been a problem for years that still hasn't been fixed, at least with the console version for xbox
What is happening?
The game refuses to remember any settings about music (turned on/of) or volume (max/min) when it is returned to the title menu (which happens each time it fails to connect to the server, which can make an error 307 very fun indeed when you attempt to reconnect and it blasts you full volume each time)
I have to click "Play" for the game to start running the settings for each user
So it's like the following
Playing the game at 30% master volume whilst in a party chat
Booted from server (307), master volume goes back to 100%
Attempts to login by selecting "Play", which then whilst loading into the server puts it back to 30% master volume whilst you see the loading symbol spin
Internal Error/307 so attempt to join server failed; thankyou for trying now have music at 100% master volume again
This can then last 5/10 mains due to the error and can be an annoying loop on the ears
Why would we have it low to begin with? Well on the xbox a lot of players like to make use of party chat so prefer to have a lower volume on the game so they can still hear their friends
Whilst I enjoy/find it amusing the super loud blast of the intro music each time; I am concerned for those that have these settings low due to accessibility reasons and you might be causing them some pain each time with the settings not staying for the title menu
Can this please be looked at? I'm also not sure if this happens on the PlayStation/PC too regarding the settings
