I done some calculations and it`s giving me 2% instead of three, I know that it`s not much but the total DPS outcome is significate when using the Dawnbreaker.

How are you calculating it? Its 3% extra weapon/spell damage per skill is additive with all your other weapon/spell damage modifiers.

If you have 20% from Major Brutality/Sorcery and 10% from Minor, a 3% additive bonus gives a 2.3% relative increase: 1.33/1.3

Add in 12% from 6 medium armor, and a 3% additive bonus gives a 2.11% relative increase: 1.45/1.42

If on templar with 6 medium armor with one FG skill already slotted, another 3% additive is a 1.99% relative increase: 1.54/1.51

At the most extreme, 3% additive would be about a 1.8% relative increase to your weapon/spell damage if you stacked every possible modifier (including the four other FG skills) before adding that last FG skill.

And that’s just a change to your weapon/spell damage stat, to be clear. Skill damage coefficients use the higher of your weapon or spell damage and add that to the higher of your max mag or stam divided by 10.5, so even a 3% increase in weapon/spell damage will not translate to 3% more damage done with your skills, since the max resource part of the damage calculation would remain unaffected by Slayer.
