ZOS, please go back and fix your old bugs!

I had yet another encounter with one of the countless bugs in ESO. It was the classic Blackheart Haven door bug leading to the last boss.
I was stuck there unable to get through and combat bugged for at least 3 mins until the rest of the party got tired of waiting and killed the boss. I PTE'd after that.
ZOS knows about the bug but they have never done anything about it for years.
Even if they were unable to fix the door bug itself, they could easily update some of these old dungeons so that players get pulled into boss fights but they won't.

I know this seem trivial, but to me it comes across almost as a lack of basic care of the game.

Are you on PC or console? Curious. I'm on console, and there are so many old bugs that I continue to complain about, but people have said since it's on console, probably can't fix. :s

    Almost?

It's not trivial. Imagine how much total time stuck in combat issues like this have wasted for customers over the years. Not only is it time wasted, it is time spent frustrated. Especially in Cyrodiil! There are probably pvp players who have played since launch who have been stuck in combat for months of their life in total.

I feel a stoic attitude is a basic requirement to play this game beyond overland quest content. That's what gets me though.

ZOS started doing Q3 QoL-focused update since last year and there's an other one planned for this year's. Many things have been fixed last QoL update so I'm very hopeful.

I personally think a mob's pathing is sometimes wrong there. Used to happen often in cradle of shadows or crypt of hearts. Wayrest problems seem better now too.

I think this one was just forgotten compared to others

In the case of blackheart haven, I've gone back and searched for the mobs with agro many times without finding them and have thus concluded one or more are falling under the floor geometry.

Cradle legitimately had a mob which spawned in the ceiling and would get stuck there.

Wayrest's issue is people aggroing the crocs at the start and ignoring them, same with Crypts, it's easy to miss an archer or a trash mob. I've had 0 issues with these issues thanks to my mini-map add-on which won't pop back up until the aggro drops, so as long as the mini-map is missing I look for the enemies and kill them. Blackheart has the same issue IMO, archer enemies who you can miss/skip unless you're looking for them.

I would like them to go back and spruce up questgivers in base game. So many of them follow me for too long.

Wayrest crocs do the same thing at that door, but in blackheart haven usually it is one of the harpies up in the air that dont come all the way down in that winding mountain pass area (if memory serves, theres hags and then harpies above). Harpies routinely get stuck up in the sky but are aggroed, and therefore keep you combat locked.

There is a bug during the main quest of High Isle. It's an easy fix; you just have to wait 15 minutes outside the zone and it resets but I didn't know that at first. I thought it was silly because the money we spent on crates and ESO plus. I wonder if it'll cause more damage to open up those old quests to maintenance them.

Don't pay for ESO plus, don't buy any chapters, hit them where it hurts. I refuse to give them my money whilst they don't address these issues.

I want the diaper bug on the Timbercrow Wanderer costume fixed. Almalexia does not have to wear a diaper on her loincloth. The newer loincloth costume does not put a diaper on our character. As much blood or treasure as this costume costs and given how nice it could be, I feel it is very negligent not to fix it.

And I maintain it is most certainly an unintentional bug. I believe our devs are too skilled and their pride of work is too high to consider this bug to be 'working as intended' or a 'design choice'.

I have used Red Mountain set for a long time on my other account (from 2014) and my new account when I use Red Mountain set it seem like it fire a large AoE then before and pBAoE which even can aggro NPCs that are far away. I don't know if this set have been changed since 2019 (time when I took a break from this game), but things like this can make you be kept in combat indefinite as you will aggro new groups of hostile (or even neutral) NPCs as long they are around. If any hostile respawn during that time before you manage to kill first wave of hostile you will be going to be locked in combat for a very long time or forced to move until you will be out respawn point for that mob or critters.

With a group (as long group work as a group and don't just split off in different direction) this will probably not be a large issue, but as fast you are solo or out of range from groups AoE damage to kill those NPC that your sets ranged ability will hit and that create new hostile NPCs and keep you and group in combat mode.

Quality of Life is not bug fixes. Those may make playing better, but are features that should work right, not aspects that make play better.

Multi-crafting was a quality of life issue. Finally getting the guy out of the wall in the one Clockwork city delve quest was not. (The one where he was difficult to find because only his rear was sticking out of the rock above where he was supposed to be.)
