Necrom is required to do the Scribing quest line?

Hello, i don't own Necrom but i plan to buy just Gold Road, then i saw a guide for Scribing and in one quest it tells you to go to Necrom. So if i don't own Necrom i wouldn't be able to do Scribing content or what?

umagon✭✭✭✭✭Without too many spoilers the quests use portals that take you to delves. So, I don’t think you need that chapter. It will spawn you inside of the delve; you don’t need to go there manually via zoning. Also a portal will take you back to the main hall when the quest segment is completed.1
