Mora was right to fear Ithelia and her CHIM-like power to rewrite fate. While some force of fate makes Torvesard completely invulnerable every time we encounter him and thus we must just watch and gawk while he threatens reality, Ithelia must think even our hollow pursuit is too great of a threat to her. I think she's been rewriting the code to my game to alter the fate of the quest. I've been soft-locked twice now lol. I entered her prison in the Mythos only to find an empty throne and no NPCs or anything to interact with. So old Torvy must've succeeded and released her because the next day when I redid the quest, a portal within the Mythos to follow Torv to the heart became locked, the interaction option grayed out. I reloaded only to find then the portal and my NPC escorts erased. She really doesn't want me to see what happened.
I find it fitting, humourous, and frustrating that the Prince of, shall we call it, incorrect fates should be surrounded by so many bugs. I'd have erased her too haha.
