Any class can tank, but of those four, DK has the most tools for tanking but Arcanist is also a solid choice with great buffs and necro is a solid choice for tanking too. Templar has the least utility for tanking in my opinion.

Those others are separate questions — are you looking to do all of these on the same character? I think people generally use sorc or warden for one bar heavy attack builds with Oakensoul (mythic ring), Sergeants, and Storm Master, but there may be other options. Arcanist can be almost one bar, although ideally you should drop DoTs on your backbar. Sets for arcanist would be Velothi’s Amulet, Deadly Strikes, and then either Ansuul’s or Coral Riptide.

I hope that helps some! I’m afraid I don’t know what is currently good in PvP.

No all my classes have oakensoul but each of the 8 characters are using the 8 base main weapon so the main issue is who fit as a tank with one shield weapon and what is the best set for it as solo.

While any class can tank, I will heavily recommend Dragonknight as a first tank- has access to a great kit, very easy to learn, and great sustain options.

I try arcanist with ravager and deadly strike set and was better especially I was 39k and the passive and the ravager set make it 50k damage but when I try dk, it stay to 32k too low for solo and pvp so I went to firestaff with dk instead.

Have you tried the “Players Helping Players” tab?

I’ve noticed quite a few posts of yours that could be labeled a “Question” and thrown in that category for a faster response.

As far as the question in this thread, Dragonknight for general tanking, Necromancer has the highest mitigation thanks to their passives, Arcanist is great too but kind of weird, Sorc or Nightblade make the best dungeon tanks, Warden makes the best arena tank, and Templar tanks excel at nothing as they don’t provide anything unique to the group.

How does sorcerer and nightblade make good as tanks, it don't make sense and it don't fit their style as well?

How does that not make sense? Look at the skills and passives that Sorcerer and Nightblade have.

Sorcerer does around 40k+ DPS while tanking and has some of the best tanking skills in the game, with a skill that provides 40% block mitigation on cast, it has a health based burst heal in Clannfear, the unpopular morph of ward gives your whole group both Minor Endurance and Intellect, it has an in-class root, and your average Sorc tank will sit at around 50k health without trying while whipping around with Minor Expedition tacked to it’s Major Resolve skill. Did I mention they have a completely unique penetration debuff through Crystal Weapon aswell? Grants your entire group a unique Minor Prophecy which stacks with Nightblade’s passive, unlike Templar and DK’s passives. They also have a group-wide Major Berserk on a hard CC ultimate…

For your fastest veteran dungeon clears, a Sorcerer tank will be your #1 pick.

Now Nightblade isn’t far behind, the class has a built in Major Resolve through it’s passives, has an AoE Minor Vulnerability skill tacked onto a gap closer, gives your entire group Major Expedition and both Minor Endurance and Intellect for free, can apply Minor and Major Cowardice for safe deathless runs, has an un-capped hard CC.

While Nightblade tank doesn’t do as much damage as Sorcerer, having that Major Expedition through Refreshing Path means your entire group will be hitting each pull significantly faster.

Like I said though, try using the “Players Helping Players” channel, there are quite a few knowledgeable folks that tend to visit there who can help answer your questions.

tank role has no place in pvp unless you want a troll tank for very specific (and limited) purposes.

bash builds are good with one bar since bash doesn't occupy a skill slot. They're naturally tanky in pve and deal good damage pressure in pvp if you can keep glued to target. Sorc and Arcanist are the recommended classes due to health-scaled shields. Only difference in pve is to slot a taunt ability.

The essential set is the craftable Deadlands Demolisher, plus 3 infused jewelries with bash glyph.
