Furnishing Name Oversight

Was trying to make a Molag Bal themed house and after placing the "Daedric Altar, Molag Bal" furnishing, I was curious to check what was written on it, so I translated from daedric.

And turns out it's actually written "Webspinner" on all sides, which is a title for Mephala, I even tried to look for the furnishing itself in the base game, and it's present in Crypt of Hearts, a dungeon related to Mephala, couldn't find it anywhere in Coldharbour, so it was definitely intended to be a Mephala thing and somehow it got added into the game as a Molag Bal furnishing.

The easier solution to fix it would be to just rename it to "Daedric Altar, Mephala" but this furnishing is also included in the "Furnishing Pack: Molag Bal", so it would be totally out of place there. I'm not optimistic about them fixing such an old furnishing, but since I couldn't find any topic mentioning this mistake at all I decided to post anyway.

Unfortunately I think they value $$ over accuracy and consistency and it wouldn't surprise me if Molag Bal has fans.

    People are weird.

    SUPA weird.

If you really care about stuff like this you might have more luck bringing it to the attention of Bethesda rather than Zenimax.

It might be different now that they're all owned by Microsoft but like when you hear Todd Howard talk about his games and his game values, he never disses ESO but he always makes it very clear that Fallout 76 was made in house.

The Fallout show having been successful and Howard now hinting that he would be open to an Elder Scrolls series or movie, brand diminishing errors like this are something they might want to tidy up.
